RED CEDAR CLUB

The RED CEDAR CLUB began today in the library.  Thirty-six students from grades 4 and 5 came to the library to begin reading selections from the RED CEDAR COLLECTION. The club meets every Friday at lunch recess and it's never too late to join. Hope to see you there!

Mr. Richey will be the Teacher-Librarian at Rogers for the remainder of the 2009-2010 school year. Welcome!

Author, Eric Wilson has 22 novels! All of his books, but one, has a setting in Canada. The one that is not set in Canada is set in Disneyland! Every student from Victoria should read "The Emily Carr Mystery" because the setting is in Victoria. SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

The Rogers Scholastic Book Fair will begin on Wednesday, October 7th until Wednesday, October 14th. Books are a beautiful accent to any room in your home, especially to your child's bedside table! All proceeds for the Book Fair will go to the Rogers Elementary School Library. See you there!
